Can anonymous customers use the loyalty program?

LoyaltyTree supports a three-state customer system: Anonymous, Guest, and Registered. Anonymous customers can earn seeds for store visits and view their tier progress, but cannot receive tree rewards until they register. Guest customers (provided email without account) earn seeds for purchases which are tracked by email address. Registered customers (created Shopify account) receive full benefits including tree planting rewards and gift card redemptions. When an anonymous customer registers, the system automatically processes any qualified tier rewards they earned while anonymous - ensuring no customer loses their environmental impact. This flexible system encourages account creation while still rewarding all customer interactions.
